Stylistic performances. Chromatic lessons. Promotion of the brand new Italian creativity and of the ability to relentlessly innovate an historic artisan tradition. In recent weeks, Lineapelle has lit up sparks of future and style across half of the globe. This is how<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

It may seem a bit exaggerated, but it actually isn’t. At Lineapelle<\/strong>, during the latest weeks, the sun never faded. In other words –\u00a0 essentially considering it as a hub aimed at creative and forward-looking promotion of the global fashion supply chain – Lineapelle held a true world tour based on presentations, workshops and stylistic contests. The stages: Guangzhou<\/strong>, Anversa<\/strong>, Tokyo<\/strong>, Hong Kong<\/strong>. Many sparks of future and style, necessary to make the excellence proposed by Lineapelle a narrative that is as boundless as possible.<\/p>\n

Sparks of future and style in Guangzhou<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On Thursday, October 16th, Lineapelle arrived in Guangzhou. Here, in the marvellous location of the Four Season Hotel, held a fashion lesson themed on the chromatic meaning of the current and upcoming market challenges<\/strong>. The title: \u201cColor intelligence: Global Trends & Finish Directions Shaping the Future Markets\u201d. The result: sold out, with over 150 professionals crowding a room that showed to be always focused and ready to interact, demonstrating an active and effective interest.<\/p>\n

Anversa, the capital city of unconventional fashion<\/strong><\/h4>\n

On Thursday, November 13th, Lineapelle reached Belgium, and more specifically arrived in Anversa<\/strong>, the capital city of unconventional fashion. Homeland of Antwerp Six<\/strong>. In other words, the renowned group of six Belgian designers (Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene, Dirk Bikkembergs, Walter Van Beirendonck e Marina Yee, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago). At the former textile factory The Mills<\/strong>, Lineapelle discussed \u201ceffect and finishes related to the 2026\/2027 Winter season.<\/p>\n

The response of the large audience, composed of designers, stylists and fashion communicators, was truly excellent. \u201cDuring the event – states Lineapelle – were exhibited prototypes of clothing fashion items realized by the students of the \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre<\/strong>, especially taking advantage of material samples provided by Lineapelle\u201d. In fact, a brand new educational partnership is being developed with this institute. This is a crucial step, as it confirms Lineapelle’s vision towards the promotion and support of the creativity of the future.<\/p>\n

Tokyo and The NIC Award<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is called The NIC (New Italian Cool) Award<\/strong>. Organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan<\/strong> (ICCJ), The NIC Award is introduced as \u201ca benchmark, a privileged observatory and a driving force for promoting the new Made in Italy\u201d. Then, as regards Lineapelle, it represented a significant opportunity to propose its innovative vision, by supporting creativity linked to style (and leather). The winners of The NIC Award were the \u201cbest Italian talents<\/strong> in terms of originality, innovation and effort towards sustainability\u201d.<\/p>\n

They were selected by an extremely high-profile Japanese jury<\/strong>, composed by the designers Tomo Koizumi<\/strong>, Yasutoshi Ezumi<\/strong>, by the buyer of Restir Maiko Shibata<\/strong> and by Ritsuko Hotta<\/strong> (Vogue, Yoox Japan, Richemont Japan). Two special categories<\/strong> were reserved for Lineapelle. The 2025 edition of the NIC Awards boasted the collaboration, other than of Lineapelle, even of Confartigianato<\/strong>, Itochu Fashion System<\/strong> (IFS) and of the fashion schools coconogacco <\/strong>and Istituto Maragoni Florence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The winners of The NIC Award Tokyo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We will start from the two Lineapelle Awards<\/strong> of The NIC. The first, for the New category<\/strong>, went to the brand Chronos Corps<\/strong>, \u201cfor the innovative use of materials and the reinterpretation of the concept of sustainable luxury\u201d. The second, for the Upcoming category<\/strong>, was won by Maria Palomba, \u201cfor the ability to combine artistic sensibility and the experimentation of materials\u201d. Then, The NIC Award delivered three more prizes. For the New Abbigliamento<\/strong> category was awarded Alberto Zambelli<\/strong>, \u201cfor his contemporary vision which blends tailoring and materials experimentation\u201d.<\/p>\n

For the New Accessori<\/strong> category, the winner was the brand 959<\/strong>, \u201cbrand that renews the artisan tradition with a sustainable and international language\u201d. Finally, for the Upcoming category<\/strong>, dedicated to students and recent graduates, was awarded Giulia Lin<\/strong>, \u201crising star who is able to connect aesthetics and technical research, with a globally inspired design\u201d.<\/p>\n

The participation at bodw+ in Hong Kong<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are in Hong Kong<\/strong> and we are talking about bodw+<\/strong> (Business of Design Week): a platform exclusively dedicated to design, launched by the Hong Kong Design Centre<\/strong>. Its aim is to build a space in which experts, companies, students and enthusiasts can easily find contents, ideas and inspirations within the design, innovation and branding fields. Lineapelle has arrived here, too, during the last October 23rd, in order to share a presentation and hold a dialogue themed on the continuous innovation process of an artisan tradition such as the leather tanning one that, in Italy, represents an element of absolute excellence.<\/p>\n
