Innovative DNA, green mission: the future is Lineapelle

Beyond the market, there will be events and content to suit all tastes beyond style. Because, more and more, Lineapelle is the future and its 99th edition interprets it in the light of a long series of keywords: responsible innovation, regenerative mobility, sustainability, (leather) culture, circularity

 

There is something for everyone’s taste, needs, and requirements for discovery and in-depth analysis. Lineapelle 99 will be back from February 22 to 24 at Fieramilano Rho with a packed program of events and content. Keywords: responsible innovation, regenerative mobility, sustainability, (leather) culture, circularity. In other words: the future is Lineapelle.

The future is Lineapelle

First of all, A New Point of Materials. The second edition, following its debut in September 2021. In other words, the “new-generation, engaging and immediately usable exhibition tool that, thanks to the work of a team of experts, allows all stakeholders in the fashion and luxury supply chain to discover and learn about the genuinely green journey of leather, textile materials and technologies from the perspective of responsible innovation”.

Imagined and built by Lineapelle in collaboration with C.L.A.S.S. Ecohub and Orietta Pelizzari, hosts and presents an evolved, contemporary and futuristic idea of sustainability. “The consolidated green mission of Lineapelle finds in the project A New Point of Materials its most research-oriented expression, oriented to the future of the supply chain – says Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle – and also to the elaboration of a language that goes beyond what has become the habit of trivializing sustainability. At Lineapelle, with A New Point of Materials, we are going further and building a new horizon: concrete, innovative and responsible”.

But there is much more to Lineapelle 99. In order, here are all its other contents.

Lineapelle X Hyundai Transys: the Shift to Regenative Mobility project arrives in Milan from South Korea. The result of a highly innovative project, the fruit of two years of collaboration between Lineapelle and Hyundai Transys (a global producer of car parts and a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group). A concept car with leather interiors, an advanced and futuristic example of “regenerative mobility”, will be exhibited and presented in Hall 9;

Leather and its Circularity: Lineapelle offers its visitors an exclusive opportunity to discover the most essential business projects linked to the circular path of Italian leather and to the manufacturer that bases its identity on upcycling;

Manufacturing Technology: discovering a new concept of customisation, Lineapelle 99, in parallel with A New Point of Materials, hosts the Manufacturing Technology project, curated by D-house by Dyloan.

Green Theatre: a space for presentations and debates (Hall 11, free entrance), which will host a schedule of half-hourly instant talks. The common denominator: the innovative sustainable approach of the exhibiting companies will be analysed across the board;

Mipel Lab: second edition also of the project created by Lineapelle in collaboration with Assopellettieri. In the exhibition space in Hall 9, Mipel Lab will present Italian excellence in leather sourcing;

Amici per la Pelle: the creative competition reserved for secondary school students in the Italian leather districts is back in Hall 9. This edition’s theme: Olympic Tan – The Skin in Sport.
